HANKOOK TIRE POSTS $22K CONTINGENCY PROGRAM FOR THE USERA SPEC MIATA ENDURANCE CHAMPIONSHIP
WAYNE, NJ (February 6, 2006)-- Hankook Tire America Corporation proudly announced today that it will post a $22K contingency program for the inaugural 2006 United States Endurance Racing Association (USERA) Spec Miata Endurance Championship season.
Hankook's USERA Contingency Program is part of an overall $3 Million program, the highest in Hankook's history.
"Hankook Tire is looking forward to the new Spec Miata Endurance Championship, we have enjoyed being part of the Miata community over the last three years," noted Hankook Tire Marketing Director Bill Bainbridge. "Hankook's race tires have proven to be highly-competitive, front-running Enduro tires as seen in the 12 Hours at Summit Point and the 25 Hours of Thunderhill. We look forward to this year's competition."
Hankook Tire continues its Motorsports growth in the United States by recently being named the Presenting Sponsor and Spec Tire of the new SCCA Pro Racing Mazda MX-5 Cup Presented by Hankook. Hankook Tire is also the Spec Tire for the United States Touring Car Championship, the Pacific F2000 series, and the F2000 Championship series.
