ATTICA, OH - When the All Star Circuit of Champions sprint cars invade Attica Raceway Park Sat. April 21 for the Coor's Nationals, it marks the 55th visit for the touring series there since Sept. 4, 1989. Steve Kinser won the inaugural Attica All Star event 12 seasons ago, with Chad Kemenah capturing the last event during the 2000 season. Over those dozen seasons, Attica's action has seen 26 drivers visiting victory lane out of 54 races. Atop the Attica winner's list is Frankie Kerr with eight wins, followed by Jeff Shepard with five visits and Mark Keegan, Dale Blaney and Joey Saldana with four wins apiece. Three time All Star champion Kenny Jacobs owns a trio of Attica wins, as does Sammy Swindell. Two time winners include Kelly Kinser, Butch Schroeder, Steve Siegel and Gary Wright. Single event victors on the star studded winner's list are Bobby Allen, Dave Blaney, Craig Dollansky, Kevin Gobrecht, Dean Jacobs, Keith Kauffman, Kemenah, Mark Kinser, Randy Kinser, Steve Kinser, Terry McCarl, Terry Shepherd, Danny Smith, Bob Teeple and Tyler Walker. The Coor's Nationals features a full program of time trials, heat races, Haulmark Dash and C, B and A Mains with the feature winner earning $5,000.
