ESS: Bully Hill: Fall Sprint Nationals entries

A total of 62 drivers enter Bully Hill Vineyards Fall Sprint Nationals for this weekend: Jimmy D's Speed and Machine and Hazlitt Vineyards add incentives.

DUNDEE, N.Y. -- In just a little over 24 hours, the Black Rock Speedway will come alive with the fourth annual Bully Hill Vineyards Fall Sprint Nationals presented by S.P. Wilson/Lakes Gas. As of September 3rd a total of 62 drivers representing nine states and Ontario, Canada have pre-entered the $40,000 open competition event for 360 sprint cars.

Sprint fans can expect over 70 winged machines to do battle during the two day event at the Yates County oval. The three "Sweet 16" feature events each paying $1000 to win will highlight Friday night's action. On Saturday comes the 4th annual National event with over $4,000 going to the winner of the 35 lap event.

Jimmy D's Speed and Machine have added extra dollars to the Bully Hill event. Jimmy DeLucia, the engine builder from Solvay, N.Y. will add $300 cash if Saturday's winner has Jimmy D power under the hood. If not, $150, $100 and $50 will go to the top three drivers using the Jimmy D engine in the 35 lap finale.

Hazlitt Vineyards has been a major sponsor with the Empire Super Sprints for 2002 and will also add extra bonuses to the Bully Hill event. Each feature winner, hard luck, quick time and winning crew will be receiving prizes from Hazlitt.
