Tri County 2003 schedule announced

Tri County Motor Speedway releases 2003 schedule.

Hudson, NC - The 2003 season schedule is now set for Tri County Motor Speedway located in Hudson, NC.

TCMS and I are very pleased in the manner in which the Caldwell County Board of Commissioners have worked with Tri County Motor Speedway since we reopened the track earlier this year," said Wilson. "I feel we have a great working relationship with the Commissioners as well as the local community. We look forward to working together to take Tri County Motor Speedway into the future on a positive light."

TCMS will host 12 events in 2003 from the opening night April 4th, until the final scheduled night of the season on August 15th. The track will feature five divisions of action on each scheduled night this year. The divisions will be TUCSON Late Models, Open Wheel Modifieids, Super Sport, Mini Stock, and a new division, J & J Sandblasting Street Stocks.

Each division will have one 50-lap event scheduled except for the Late Models, which will run twin 50s on June 13 and the Coca-Cola 100 race on August 8th. A special "Crash and Bash Night" featuring a demolition derby is scheduled for June 27th.

"2003 promises to be a great season," said Wilson. "I anticipate a stronger car count and growth in spectator attendance as well. Tri County is a great facility and USAR will continue to pledge to do everything possible to make it a fun and affordable place to bring your family for a night of entertainment."
