Shortened Session Costs HVM Drivers Final Shot
BJORN WIRDHEIM, #4 HVM/Lola/Ford-Cosworth/Bridgestone
Bjorn on Qualifying: "It wasn't the best start to the weekend this morning when we had gearbox troubles that limited our practice session. For qualifying, there is still quite a big gap to the front-runners so we have a lot of work to do tonight. We'll test our changes in practice tomorrow and do our best to gain some ground and improve our position."
Rodolfo Lavin, #55 HVM/Lola/Ford-Cosworth/Bridgestone
Rodolfo on Qualifying:"It was a disappointing day. The car is pretty good all the way through the middle of the corner. We are struggling for front grip on the cement patches something fierce. As soon as I try to carry the momentum through the turn, it is very challenging at the exit as there is not grip. We'll get it fixed for tomorrow and make sure to get a better result."
