Brendan Langlois Wins First Race at Irwindale

Sacramento, CA (April 2, 2008) - Former karting star Brendan Langlois just completed the second round of the California Pavement Ford Focus Midget Series at Irwindale Speedway in California. Competing for the Ron Sutton's Winner's Circle team as a development driver, Langlois has impressed many by finishing fourth in the opening round of the series.

Qualifying fourth for the main event Brendan was confident he could move up in the race and challenge for the victory. Getting a great start, Brendan would start to pick off the drivers in front. Once he took the lead he would never look back and check out to score his first victory in only his second start. Brendan also became the first fifteen year old to win a Ford Focus Midget race and is the first time the team has won in the second race of the season.
