INDIANAPOLIS -- Tate Martz of Rushville, Ind. on Saturday will lead fellow USAC Midwest Ford Focus Midget Car Series competitors on a return trip to the Bluegrass State for the second of two races at the Kentucky Speedway.
Martz, who looks to wrap up his second consecutive series title, holds a 130-point margin over Stephanie Mockler heading into the event, which shares the card with the NASCAR AutoZone Elite Division Southeast Series. Derek Fisher of Columbus, Ind. took the first visit to the track in 2005, winning the 20-lapper in July. Josh Clemons of Greenfield, Ind. also won on the quarter-mile last season.
