SMITH LEADS NORTHEAST FOCUSES TO SEEKONK FOLLOWING LOWVILLE RAIN OUT

Ryan Smith of Kunkletown, Pa. leads the USAC Northeast Ford Focus Midget Car Series contingent Saturday to Seekonk Speedway in Seekonk, Mass. for the region's second race of the season after last Saturday's event at Lowville, N.Y. was rained out.

Smith holds a three-point advantage over Nick Wean heading into Saturday's contest at Seekonk. The event marks USAC's first event in the Bay State since 1986.

Persistent rains forced the calling of the event at Adirondack International Speedway in Lowville, which was to be USAC's first event ever at the track.
