"As far as I am concerned, since my victory in 1993, the 24 Hours are synonymous with celebration. I go there every year with great pleasure, a feeling that grows year after year. My family and friends always go with me. Le Mans is an extraordinary atmosphere, something you can’t find anywhere else. The Drivers Parade, the contact with the huge number of fans, Le Mans is always the highlight of my season," confirmed Christophe.

This year, he will be starting in the Sarthe region for the 18th time, making him once again one of the most experienced drivers on the grid. Even more impressively, a look at the record books shows that only 13 drivers have reached this number of participations. Another reason why the links between him and the event are so strong !

After making his return to Le Mans in a prototype last year – the Kolles Audi R10 – Christophe will be back this year with the Level 5 Lola-Honda. After his first experience last year alongside Christophe, the American driver is returning to France with his own team and plenty of ambitions, as their aims are to win the LMP2 category and to finish in the top ten. Ambitions that are definitely within reach, given the quality of the team and the homogenous driver line-up. The linchpin of the American team, Christophe will, this year, be able to count on Joao Barbosa, who has raced at Le Mans on six occasions and whose career record in the United States, including victory in the 24 Hours of Daytona 2010 – confirms his speed. With them, Scott Tucker, the 2010 LMPC champion, will be fast and reliable on this challenging Le Mans circuit.
