On the difficult roads of the Acropolis Rally Antony Warmbold took a new step forward at the wheel of his Ford Focus WRC. The young German driver was very satisfied with his car which is now much more easier to drive. His time during the leg 3 illustrated perfectly Antony's capacities: all his times were closer to the leader's one and more particularly to those of Janne Tuohino, the ford raw recruit. Once again Antony and Gemma crossed the finish line in 9th position, close to the points. The result of this 6th leg of the World Rally Championship is very positive for Warmbold and Price. Now the German-British duo knows that it has a good car enabling it to race with the leader of the WRC, which should allow Antony and Gemma to win their first points in the World Rally Championship by the end of the season, and why not during the next Rally of Turkey.
Antony Warmbold "The new set-up that we adopted is definitely very good. We still need more traction at the exit of the corner, but we know how to modify that. The car is much easier to drive, I am faster with less effort under the wheel, it is incredible! I took a lot of pleasure during this Acropolis Rally. We are optimistic for the next event in Turkey even if I did not take part in this rally last year, so it will be a discovery for me"
