BEST 2009 QUALIFICATION FOR DONI TATA PRADITA

Doni qualifies in 14th position, which is his best ever result since he started the Supersport World Championship. For the first time of his young career, the Indonesian rider will start with his Yamaha from the 4th row of the grid.

In the free practice session on Saturday morning, Doni did an incredible performance with the 4th time on a drying track, only 1.4 seconds behind the fastest rider. He displayed his talent to adapt to difficult conditions.

In the qualifying practice session, Doni did a very good job with the 14th time on a track that he is appreciating a lot. This is the possibility for him to start the race tomorrow with the leading group, and therefore an opportunity to achieve a good result and to continue his learning experience.

Doni Tata Pradita: "This is my best qualification of this season. I pushed and my times were better and better. I had some kind of slippery feeling with my front tyre, like under steering. When I used too much angle, I had some shattering. This result is not so bad. I improve my riding and my ability to set up the bike. We have to work to improve the front suspension. I am happy and I hope this will continue tomorrow."

Martial Garcia (team-manager): "This superb 14th position puts Doni with the top riders. He qualifies with West, Lagrive and McCoy. His Yamaha is fast with the 4th top speed. I am very confident for the race. Doni is very much at ease on this track."
