I DON'T LIKE TALKING ABOUT BAD LUCK BUT--
Dear Friends,
I usually don't like talking about bad luck when it comes to race results. But today the same thing that happened at Curitiba occurred again. The valve of a tyre got broken in a contact with an opponent. This is something extremely unlikely but it happened to me twice in three weekends.
That's a shame since at Valencia I have been more competitive that what I could have expected, especially under heavy rain, whereby I was really fast even compared to the other BMWs. Today's races brought me a thirteenth and eighteenth place, results that without any inconveniences could have been probably different.
Anyway, that's racing. During my career I luckily lived different experiences too, periods in which everything goes well even when it should not. It's a spinning wheel (with a working valve I mean), therefore I hope that this trend will change soon again.
Out of track, next week I will be in Germany for the launch of the new BMW X6, an extremely nice car that I hope will soon accompany me in my long trips throughout Europe.
Bye and talk to you soon,
