Top 10 finish for Matt Lee with Conquest Racing Atlantic in the Vegas Grand Prix

Las Vegas, Nevada, April 8, 2007 -- Conquest could have had two tops ten finishes today during the Las Vegas Grand Prix Atlantic Race but it was not meant to be. Giacomo Ricci was running 7th but could not avoid another competitor that spun ahead of him on the last lap and did not finish the race. Matt Lee, however, had probably more pit stop practice than any Champ Car driver but still managed to finish in 10th position.

10th - Matt Lee - #44 Mazda-Cosworth/Swift/Cooper

"Although I had to pit four times today, two tires and one front wing, my team got me out every time without being a lap down. I am pleased I still managed to finish in the top ten. Hopefully Long Beach with go a lot smoother and we will have a better finish."

14th - Giacomo Ricci - #18 Mazda-Cosworth/Swift/Cooper

"I am not very happy with the way I finished the race today but I do not feel like I made too many mistakes this weekend so I was unhappy when I crashed out at the very end. Next week I anticipate a better weekend over all."
