"We improved our car throughout the weekend at the oval in Milwaukee. I think we will be better for the next oval in Chicago. Now I'm anxious to race at Laguna Seca after the test we had at Black Hawk Farms (Ill.). We were able to test for two and a half days there. I feel the car will be very good for the road course. I have come from a road racing background and going to a permanent circuit like Laguna Seca will be good for me and the team. I think we'll be more competitive there."

We have road racing backgrounds and I thought the test went very well. I think we are looking forward to the Laguna Seca (June 9) and Portland (June 16) races. Those races should be more familiar to us."
