EU3000: Misano: Series Friday notes

ADAM KHAN (TP FORMULA) AND LUIZ RAZIA TOP FIRST FREE PRACTICE IN MISANO

The new Euroseries 3000 weekend on the Misano Adriatico track, fifth season round, officially started with the first free practice session.

The Anglo-Pakistan Adam Khan (TP Formula) and the Brazilian Luiz Razia (Bull Racing) battled throughout the first thirty minutes: at the end the Traini and Pomozzi's team driver managed to top Ernesto Catella's driver for just 142 thousands of a second.

Behind them the standings leader, the Italian Fabio Onidi (1'28"326) with GP Racing's Lola B02/50, the Monaco rookie Clivio Piccione for Sighinolfi Autoracing team (1'28"857), next A1GP Team Monaco driver, and Bull Racing's second driver, the French Nicolas Prost (1'28''913).

Slightly behind race-2 winner in Mugello, Fabrizio Crestani, at his second race in the F.3000 championship, who continued his learning with the new car towards qualifying and races.

Good comeback in the championship for the young Matteo Cozzari with the second Sighinolfi Autoracing car, with the ninth time, ahead of the two Emmebi Motorsport's drivers Francesco Dracone and Juan Zapata.

Euroseries 3000 will come back on track this afternoon starting from 15.20 for the second free practice session, looking forward to the qualifying round scheduled for tomorrow morning at 11.05.

Leading the drivers standings is the Italian Fabio Onidi (GP Racing) with 40 points, followed by the French Nicolas Prost (Bull Racing) with 30 points and the Spanish Roldan Rodriguez (26).
