Trident Racing is pleased to announce its entry into the new Auto GP Series, organized by Coloni Motorsport.
Trident's choice, to put this second program side by side its commitment to the GP2 Series Championship highlights the team's intention to maintain a relevant position along with the other top level teams in the field of international motorsport.
The Auto GP Series seems to have everything in order to be a successful series thanks to the performing one-seater used such as the Lola-Zytek, the prestigious circuits where the races will take place, the possibility in winning significant money prizes and the limited budget required by the drivers considering the one-seater used.
In addition, the car's features will be very similar to the Dallara GP2 single-seater which allows drivers to prepare at their best for a possible and subsequent step into the major categories.
"I think that Coloni is bringing forward a very interesting and appealing sport project." - Maurizio Salvadori (Trident's Team Principal) declared -"Our goal is to surely fight for the final victory but to also line up deserving drivers in the Auto GP Series who can eventually grow with us in the GP2 Series."
