USAR: Team Concept 2000 graduation

The Bobby Isaac Motorsports Technology Program at Catawba Valley Community College in Hickory, North Carolina graduated eleven more students from their Team Concept Program last week. Many graduates had secured jobs before graduation, others are being interviewed at this time. Ben Warner, Team Concept Crew Chief, has been placed on Roush Racing #6 car Body Development Crew.

Ross Owen, Team Concept Fabricator, has been recruited for Roush's Research and Development Program. Josh Williams, Team Concept Shop Foreman and Josh Mick, Team Concept Chassis Technician, are currently employed by Michael Kranfuss Racing.

Rusty Lewis has accepted a Finish Fabricators position with Green Light Racing.

Team Concept is an aggressive one year program using a USAR ProCup Team to introduce students to the vigorous motorsports environment. Chassis Design, Car Construction, Body

Development, Parts Acquisition, Track Testing, Maintenance and Team Management Skills highlight their concentrations. Twenty 2001 Team hopefuls enter the Winter Training program December 11th. These students will compete to fill fifteen spots for the nineteen race Southern USAR ProCup Series (www.usarprocup.com) starting at Lakeland February 24th.

The Team will also compete in four selected Northern USAR ProCup Series races.
