Series pre-season news on teams testing programs

BRC - Testing Testing

Several teams and drivers are planning to test their cars ahead of the start of the 2011 Dulux Trade MSA British Rally Championship, Rallye Sunseeker International; now just four weeks away.

Autosport Technology is at this very moment off to the deepest darkest forests of .... It's only fair to give the team some peace to allow Estonian Siim Plangi to get used to the little Renault Twingo. However, Greenlight Television has sent a crew to cover the test as part of Sky Sports' preview to the new season, which will be aired in the week before the first round.

As part of Pirelli Star Driver Elfyn Evans' pre-season preparations, he will spend some time testing the TEG Sport run, 2010 championship winning car, before a slightly more high profile outing on the Wyedean Rally as one of the course cars. Greenlight will also cover Evans' test to balance coverage of two and four wheel drive, the 2011 championship offering a British title for both.

Tom Cave has already had some valuable seat time, spotted out in his Subaru Impreza last weekend on the Red Kite Stages, denied from taking victory after a puncture and stage cancellation. He did however finish second, but in a teasing pre-event press release, it was revealed that he would not be contesting the Dulux Trade MSA British Rally Championship in the six year old Impreza.....
