</pre> In front of a huge crowd at Brands Hatch, David Leslie once again scored points with a level-headed drive which got the best out of his PETRONAS-backed Proton Impian/Wira, helped by slick work from his pit crew. Phil Bennett also secured a good finish in Round 3 but was forced out on the first lap of Round 4.
David Leslie: "Both races were very close. My pitcrew gave me a great stop in Round 4 while others were losing their heads and I picked up track position. The car was good so I'm pleased with my results today -- we finished ahead of two works Hondas."
Phil Bennett: "We had a good steady run in Race 3 but Race 4 was a disaster. I got pushed off on the second corner and ended in the barriers. My luck has to turn soon!"
Mike Carroll (Race Director): "This was our first dry race this year so consistency was vital on this short track. David did well to avoid trouble and keep a cool head. 6th place was a good result for us, for which the pitcrew must also take credit."
David Wong (Team Principal): "I'm pleased with sixth place in such a tight race - it's more points in the bag for us. We're looking forward to another performance improvement for the next race at Thruxton."
