The first day of B.A.R Honda's three-day test in Barcelona began this morning with test driver Enrique Bernoldi and Young Drivers Adam Carroll and James Rossiter in attendance. The weather conditions for the morning session were hot and sunny.

Enrique spent his early runs finding a good balance in chassis 007-06 before running through an aero evaluation and suspension set-up work. He completed 80 laps in the morning session.

In chassis 007-03, Adam completed 56 laps in the morning session running through general set-up work and a rear suspension evaluation.

An unexpected downpour disrupted running in the early afternoon. Adam completed a run on intermediate tyres before moving to dry tyres for a further two runs, bringing his final lap tally for the day to 70 laps.

Enrique completed two runs on the drying circuit, bringing his total to 86 laps for the day.

James ran today in chassis 007-01, a 2006 development car, sharing track time alternately with the other two cars. He completed 26 laps and set some encouraging lap times for his first outing at the Barcelona circuit.
