It was another very hot day in Jerez today for the second day of the B.A.R Honda test, with air temperatures reaching 36°C and a track temperature at lunchtime of 50°C.

Jenson Button continued his aero evaluation, having a very productive morning in chassis 007-03. He ran for 61 laps, completing his planned programme.

Takuma Sato joined the test this morning, running alternately in chassis 007-01 and 007-03. He completed two shakedown runs in 007-01 before working on finding a good balance in 007-03. Once happy with the car, he ran through a bodywork cooling evaluation, followed by a set-up programme. Takuma completed 60 laps in the morning session.

Jenson continued to run his aero evaluation this afternoon, completing a total of 103 laps today. Takuma spent the afternoon session running through a tyre evaluation for the German Grand Prix. He completed a total of 89 laps today.

Anthony Davidson will take over from Jenson tomorrow in chassis 007-06, with Enrique Bernoldi driving chassis 007-01.
