Benetton claims to have had a useful session on Friday, as they found the source of the electrical problems that have plagued them this week. Giancarlo Fisichella managed to complete a race distance in the car, whilst Wurz worked on set-up.

Fisichella: "It is a good feeling to get a proper race distance again before we go to Melbourne. I feel like we are now ready to go."

Wurz: "I [am] much happier with my set up and now want to get a race distance in at Silverstone next week before we pack up for Australia.".<P>

The final testing will be February 29th to 1st March at Silverstone.

British American Racing should be reliable in Australia, says Jacques Villeneuve. "We have made some more progress here and we can certainly say that the car is reliable. The most important thing about the early season races is to get to the finish and I am confident that we are in good shape to be there at the end of the first race".

Andrew Alsworth of BAR, meanwhile, said "We are not focusing on performance work at this stage and did not make any serious attempt to set a time"
