Force India to keep same drivers in 2010

Vijay Mallya insists there is no reason for Force India to reconsider its current driver line-up ahead of the 2010 season.

The Silverstone based team headed into the Italian GP with former test driver Vitantonio Liuzzi as German regular Adrian Sutil's new teammate.

They are enjoying a run of form with the heavily improved VJM02 car, and team co-owner and boss Mallya admitted that the boost in competitiveness has sparked plenty of interest from other drivers.

He is quoted by Switzerland's Motorsport Aktuell as revealing that "at least ten drivers" approached him based on the team's form at Spa and Monza, and some of them were "very famous F1 drivers", without mentioning any names.

But billionaire Mallya said he is happy with Sutil and Italian Liuzzi.

"I am very happy with what I have," he said. "The only free space is for the test driver, and then we will see."

"These guys (Liuzzi and Sutil) are loyal and work hard. If there is no compelling reason for a change, then I have to ask myself, 'Why should I?'"

Mallya was spotted with Karun Chandhok at Monza last weekend, and he has offered the Indian GP2 driver a test in McLaren's driver simulator.

He also revealed at the Italian circuit that Swiss Neel Jani, who is half-Indian, will receive a stint in the state-of-the-art facility at Woking.
