It was unfortunately a very disappointing qualifying session for the Orange Arrows team, with Pedro de la Rosa and Jos Verstappen qualifying 15th and 20th on the grid respectively, in very hot conditions.
Pedro de la Rosa:
"I'm definitely not happy with my position, but am very happy with the
team. We knew we were going to struggle here and we have tried everything
during the last few days. Although I'm not happy with the position as we
expected more, I am happy with at least doing one good lap."
Jos Verstappen:
"It was just very very very bad and there's just nothing more to say. Our
car is not particularly suited to this circuit and we just can't get the
set-up quite right".
Tom Walkinshaw:
"We said before hand that we might struggle here and unfortunately we were
right. The team and drivers are working really hard but we've still got
more to do".
