The Benson and Hedges Jordan Honda team began a three day test in Valencia today, running two EJ11 chassis for the first time this year.

Heinz-Harald Frentzen finished the day having completed 62 laps with the 3rd fastest lap time of 1:14.16, with Jarno Trulli’s time of 1:14.77 placing him in 6 th having run 70 laps.

In hot and sunny conditions, the drivers concentrated on chassis set-up work which proved trouble-free, the priority being to learn the characteristics of the car as adjustments were made.
