RAIN STOPS NAKANO'S TESTING

The abundant rain which poured down on the Scarperia track stopped the regular execution of the tests scheduled for today. Once in his car late in the morning, Shinji Nakano was stopped by a real storm - which demanded even the intervention of the road sweeper trucks to remove the mud from the track. He managed to run only 9 laps due to an unfruitful day which prevented him to carry on the test schedule in view of the Belgian GP. Hoping to have more favourable weather conditions, the new diffuser, which is the latest development of the M198 car, set up in the wind tunnel at Fondmetal Technologies, will be tested tomorrow, second and last test session day. Nakano will be once again at the wheel of his single seater, while his team mate Tuero is in Argentina for some sponsor promotions. Drivers: Shinji Nakano Laps: 9 Best time: 1:33:210
