In the hot temperatures of Monaco during this afternoon's practice session, Pedro de la Rosa completed 39 laps over the two sessions and achieved 8th position with a time of 1:22.944. Jos Verstappen was only able to complete 25 laps in total though due to a gearbox problem, with his fastest time of 1:24.587 putting him in 19th.

"Well it's been a good session as the car was very good and had no problems
throughout the practice. It's important in Monaco to do as many laps as
possible to get the most out of the track time, and we made some changes to
the car to prepare for qualifying which is the most important thing here,
so I think the main objective is to be quick in qualifying, as if you
qualify well you have a chance to do well in the race as it's hard to
overtake on this circuit".
Jos Verstappen
Car No 19
Chassis No 4
Best Time 1:24.587
"I'm frustrated because we couldn't do the last few runs because of a
gearbox problem, and it's important to do as many practice laps as you can
here. I'm confident that the car will be fine for qualifying and we can do
well in the race".
