Team Sauber Petronas continued its four-day test at the Circuito de Catalunya today. Felipe Massa covered 89 laps in chassis C23-01 to set a best time of 1:17.539. Tomorrow Giancarlo Fisichella will take over the driving.

Mike Krack (Race Engineer):

"Today was a much better test day for us than yesterday. In the morning we ran an aerodynamic programme with different front wings and several other parts, and did some system checks. Later during the day we focused on Bridgestone tyre construction tests. Despite of the many interruptions due to red flags we were able to finally complete the scheduled programme. Tomorrow we will verify the collected Bridgestone data with Giancarlo and have also planned to run an engine test for race weekends."

Felipe Massa:

"Thanks to a better understanding of the car I could do a lot more runs and we could work much more on the set-up of the C23. Unfortunately we couldn't do our Bridgestone work so well. There were a lot of traffic and stops, but this is normal when so many teams are testing on the same day. Nevertheless I can say that the car is more reliable now."

Chassis: C23-01
89 laps, 411.803 kilometres
Best time: 1:17.539
