The AT&T Williams team were back in action at a damp Barcelona today at the Circuit de Catalunya.
Having flown out especially, the race team were present for day two of the test to carry out a series of pitstop practices with the team's race drivers, Nico Rosberg and Kazuki Nakajima, in preparation for the 2008 season. By lunchtime, the team had completed a total of 40 pitstops.
The afternoon saw test driver, Nico Hulkenberg, take over from Kazuki to assist Rosberg and the team set-up the FW30s for Melbourne.
Dickie Stanford, Test Team Manager:
"We spent the whole morning practising pitstops with the race team and both race drivers today. We completed approximately 40 pitstops in total. Nico Hulkenberg then took over from Kazuki in the afternoon and continued set-up work on the car while Nico ran through some systems checks. The wet conditions really played havoc with the session for the second day in succession but we're expecting a drier day tomorrow, during which we will again run all three drivers."
