Nico Hulkenberg joined the team for day three of this week's four day test in Jerez today. For the first time this week the rain showers, which turned monsoon last night, finally made way for some clear weather allowing the team to clock a decent amount of mileage.

Nico and the race team worked on more pitstop practices this morning before moving on to race simulation work. Despite a minor technical issue which cut short the team's session, Nico covered 138 laps of the 4.428kn track and recorded the fourth fastest time of the session behind Webber, Alonso and Button with a 1:21.432. Nico will continue on track tomorrow for final day of the test.

Sam Michael, Technical Director: Finally a dry day! Nico spent most of the morning doing pitstop practice with the race team before moving on to a race simulation. He then followed that up with a long run for set-up work. The cause of the problem which forced Nico to stop out on track towards the end of the session was hydraulic, but the part was high mileage. Nico will spend the evening working on set-ups and will continue running tomorrow for our last day in Jerez.
