DAMS teams Valencia test notes

TEAM WORK BRINGS SATISFACTION TO MALDONADO & DANIELSSON AFTER VALENCIA TEST

Valencia, 14 Avril 2005 - The 2 DAMS drivers and the technical crew managed to test a huge amount of set up versions during these test days in Valencia, which resulted in the final afternoon session in the 2nd position overall of Pastor Maldonado

Jean-Paul Driot, Team Principal : "We are closing the gap with the 2004 World Series Teams who have a bigger experience of the car. There is still a lot of work to be done but we have tried many different configurations and the team is happy with this test."

Alx Danielsson : "It was good to do a lot of laps after the first tests and the kilometres I lost when we had a few problems. The car is very good on old tires, we are going on the right direction, and I am delighted to work with Pastor, we have done a complimentary work, as a team, this is very positive for the future. The time to do quick lap times with new tires will come soon."

Pastor Maldonado : "We have a much better understanding of the car and we managed to be fast enough at the end of the test. The crew is doing a great job and I am very happy to work with Alx, we have a very good understanding of each other, I expect a great season with DAMS."
