After Valencia, the second round of collective test in Barcelona
After Valencia, another spanish stage for the collective test of the World Series by Renault. In Montmelo circuit, in Barcelona, the young drivers, who will dispute the season 2008 in the weekend of 26-27 April in Monza, could test on track the second new Dallara, not yet present in Valencia.
The first day of test was held yesterday, Tuesday 8 April, in a hot and sunny day. In the morning the two Draco drivers were in track, 35 laps for Bertrand Baguette and 29 for Marco Barba. But it was during the afternoon session that the drivers were able to significantly reduce their time and Marco Barba was the protagonist of the round, the first for most of the four hours available with the time of 1'33 "745 and overtook only in the last minute by Bonanomi. A very good time also for Baguette (1'34 "026), who ended the session at 4 place.
Today and tomorrow the second and third day of test will give a better idea of the potential of the new car, in anticipation of the 2008 Championship.
