ISR Racing takes more points between the streets of Monte Carlo

ISR Racing was once again off to a great weekend at Monte Carlo. The Czech quad cruised to some more key points, proving as one of the most shining realities in the 2010 World Series by Renault 3.5. After taking victory at Spa-Francorchamps, ISR relied on Filip Salaquarda, who cruised to the flag in 8th. The Czech scored his first points of the season on a really tough racetrack. Despite suffering from some issues on slo w corners, he even managed to keep Brendon Hartley behind in the opening stages w hile running in 7th.

"The car was perfect in fast corners, but slo wer ones were really hard. Despite that, I managed to defend from Hartley well. Unfortunately, a slight mistake enabled him to pass at the Mirabeau, together with Lancaster. At that point, I kept Panciatici and Move behind through the closing stages, when the retirement of my team-mate handed me 8th place. I've been so looking for ward to my first points, and having scored them on such a prestigious venue is amazing. I'm no w focusing on the next round, scheduled at my home track, Brno. I can't wait to repeat and try to keep the same pace in front of our cro wd."

Alexander Rossi, who was running in 5th after moving on from ro w 3, completed an outstanding series debut in the Principality. The American proved able to compete with the World Series' front runners. Unfortunately, he lost control of his Dallara at Massanet with 3 to go, hitting the barriers while trying to defend from Hartley.

"We have been able to end up into the points zone with one car, and we would have been able to put both our drivers in without the incident happened to Rossi. Nonetheless, Alexander has been wonderful. I'm happy for Filip, who scored his first points in 2010. It's a further sign of gro wth. The next race will be starting at Brno, with the goal of putting both cars into the top-10 in both race. In which spot? We're not putting any limit."
