Misano, race two: Lopez fulfills his promise
06/05/2007 - Victory at the last lap for Pablo Sanchez Lopez (Alan Racing), who overtook Fabrizio Crestani at Misano during final kilometers of race two. Fabrizio Crestani started from the pole position and kept the lead of the race until that point.
The leader of the classification Paolo Maria Nocera was instead forced to retirement due to an accident with a lapped opponent. Nicola De Marco got the third place of the podium.
After four races Nocera still leads the classification with 32 points, followed by Efisio Marchese with 25 and Pablo Sanchez Lopez with 24. Next round in two weeks time at Magione.

Alberto Locatelli (Alan Racing, Team Manager)
"We are very happy for our first victory in the Formula 3 Italian
Championship. We had a troubled weekend with some problems to the engine
but all guys worked hardly and this victory is undoubtedly theirs as
well".
Fabrizio Crestani
"During final laps I had some tyres problems and the left rear mirror
moved from the original position therefore it was not usable any more. I
did not see Lopez getting in and I realized that he was attacking me when
it was too late. The second place is a good result for the classification
though".
Nicola de Marco
"After the bad luck of yesterday I got this podium, my first one in
Formula 3: it is a great satisfaction. The race has been tough and I had
to grit my teeth. It seemed difficult to overtake Bortolotti, since the
slipstream made me loose a lot of aerodynamic load, but during the last
lap I saw a gap and I succeeded in striking the winning attack".
Paolo Maria Nocera
"I am absolutely disappointed: a lack of care from a lapped opponent
costed me the retirement and a lot of precious points for the
championship. In spite of the blue flag, while I was completing the
overtaking I have been closed. The excursion out of the track has been
quite violent and it concluded with a overturn.
The outcome of my weekend is positive anyway: I won a race and I keep the
lead of the classification".
