Nocera wins a exciting race at Misano

"It has been a tough race: thanks to a good overtaking on Crestani I got the race lead and I knew that without errors the victory would have been mine. The attack I received at the Quercia risked to seriously compromise my race: Crestani tried to overtake me in a corner in which it is impossible such a manouvre. We both went out of track but, luckily enough, the new tarmac outside the track avoided our retirement and I was able to recover quickly.

The contact between De Marco and a lapped opponent allowed me to get back to the lead at the end of the race. This victory strengthens my primacy in the classification".

"The engine failure in yesterday's first free practice prevented me to get the proper acquaintance with the dry track and this penalized me during qualify.

This second place is therefore a good result that I'd like to dedicate to all the team's guys, whose amazing work allowed me to get this podium. I look forward to fighting for the victory in tomorrow's race".
