34 drivers on track for a real talent launcher
Monza has been the starting scene of the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0. Thirty-four drivers in action for a two-day scheduled official test--and almost 15 drivers packed in just ONE second.
British driver Westley Barber was the quickest man in Monza after setting his best timed-lap in 1.50.293 at an average speed of 254.7 km/h.
Some of the drivers are in their second year of competition and are regarded as real Title contenders. Instead, al least ten of the drivers listed below maybe have a lot to learn during their first year in this category, but they are well known in Karting.
The first test in Monza allowed the teams to test some of the most talented fresh drivers from 17 different countries including China, Russia, Japan, Colombia or Brazil.
The Italian circuit has been the perfect warm-up for team staff as well as for the drivers themselves. The Teams are now heading for the new scheduled test in Le Mans (24 and 25 of April).
