LOS ANGELES, CA (June 4, 2010) - IZOD IndyCar driver Milka Duno will compete in the Firestone 550k this Saturday, June 5, 2010 at Texas Motor Speedway.
Duno has raced in the IndyCar Series at Texas Motor Speedway three times - in 2007, 2008 and 2009. In 2007, she started 19th and finished 11th. In 2008 she started in 27th and took the checkered flag in 17th. Last year she started 20th and, as a result of being caught up in the contact between two cars in front of her on the first lap, finished 23rd.
"I always look forward to racing at Texas Motor Speedway because it is such a great track - and the Texas fans are awesome!" 'said Duno. "We've worked really hard to address issues that hurt us at Indy and we're all hoping to do well here."
Duno drives the #18 CITGO/CANTV car with Dale Coyne Racing.
