Driver Mishael Abbott Qualifies 15th for Indy Pro Series Freedom 100
INDIANAPOLIS (May 25, 2006) -- Mishael Abbott had a good initial practice for the Indy Pro Series Freedom 100 on Thursday morning. After 32 total laps, her best speed was 184.56 mph for the opening practice.
The second practice of the day, she was only able to reach a top speed of 182.77 mph after 27 laps. Mishael drew the 9th spot for the qualification run. In the afternoon humidity, she qualified 15th with a top speed of 179.94 mph. Speed was down even more for the final practice session, reaching only 176.105 mph as the temperatures reached nearly ninety degrees by end of day.
The Indy Pro Series Freedom 100 is scheduled for Friday, May 26, 12:30 p.m. (EDT)
