Biffle on Charlotte: "We all love racing at Charlotte because we're home for the week but it's also a fun Saturday night race for us. Anytime we race under the lights at Charlotte, there's an added level of excitement. We've run well there the last couple of years and I think we could have had a decent finish there in the spring if rain hadn't been a factor. I'm looking forward to going back there this weekend and seeing what we can do. Charlotte is definitely one of those tracks on the circuit where a driver really wants to get a win and it would be incredible to get this 3M team into victory lane in front of the home crowd."
Erwin on Charlotte: "We had a good car there for the Coke 600 and we had just gotten the handling a little better when that caution came out for rain. We really thought it would go back to green-flag racing but that didn't happen and we ended up 20th. I think we all want another shot at a solid finish in Charlotte this season after that. We just need to set it up with adjustability for the transition from a late-evening start to a night finish."
Notes:
Following a 20th-place finish in California, Biffle moved up
one position to seventh in the point standings.
Biffle has two top-five and five top-10 finishes in points races at Lowe's Motor Speedway with an average finish there of 18.4.
Earlier this season in the Coca-Cola 600 Biffle was running 13th when the caution came out for rain. He and the team decided to pit in case green-flag racing resumed. However, when it did not, they were credited with a 20th-place finish.
