DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.

Dale Jarrett posted the fastest time in Ford Motor Company NASCAR Winston Cup stock car testing for the second day in a row Wednesday at Daytona International Speedway. Jarrett, driving for Robert Yates Racing, was the fastest of five stock car drivers who took laps in the test session in preparation for the February 18 Daytona 500 and the February 11 Daytona ARCA 200.

Jarrett, the 1993 Daytona 500 winner and defending 500 Busch Pole Award winner, Wednesday was clocked at 48.195 seconds, an average speed of 186.741 mph.
