Derrick Cope will replace Johnny Benson in the 30 car next year. The contract expired on the Dr. J's team in getting a sponsor and this released Cope to pursue other options.

Jeff Burton has a bad ear infection and is doubtful for qualifying.  Todd
Bodine will qualify the car and practice it.  He is listed as hopeful for
Sunday.  Bad break for Jeff Burton.

Johnny Benson's contract was bought out by Rousch. This probably won't make it to the main stream news. No word on what he was worth, but I imagine it being Rousch, he wasn't cheap.

Qaulifying later today. Look for results around 4:30 Central.
