Phoenix II: Scott Riggs preview

Chassis No. 132: Brand new chassis built for 2006. Raced at Phoenix earlier this year; Finished in the top-10 in the spring race at Loudon.

SCOTT RIGGS QUOTES:

"Our car was really strong at Phoenix in the spring. We started 24th, came up through the field and ran the top-10 for a while. The car was fast. We're bringing the same chassis we had at that race, so I'm looking forward to a good weekend and driving another fast Stanley Tools/Valvoline Dodge Charger. Rodney [Childers] and the whole Valvoline/Stanley Tools team does a great job setting-up these cars so I'm looking forward to the weekend."

QUICK FACTS:

* The No. 10 Stanley Tools/Valvoline Dodge Charger qualified 24th finished 38th after a mid-race spin that kept him from a solid finish in the spring event at Phoenix International Raceway (PIR). He had been running solidly in the top-10 for the majority of the race before the incident.

* Last weekend at Texas, Riggs was running in the second position in the final three laps before getting spun from behind and finishing 31st.

* Jeff Seaberg, No. 10 transport driver, finished second in the Freightliner Truck Driver Challenge at Texas last weekend, bringing home $15,000 in addition to his win in the Pilot Truck Driver Challenge the weekend before.

* Riggs has one top-five, seven-top 10s, and two poles so far this season in Nextel Cup. He has led 131 laps in 2006, compared to 18 laps in 2005, and 15 laps in 2005.
