Did you know your lap was that good, and what does it mean for the race on Sunday?
"It was a pretty good lap. Our Interstate Batteries Camry was pretty good right there. It felt like a great lap. It just didn't quite have the speed in it like we had at Las Vegas. Overall, we weren't overly excited about qualifying. We knew that if we could get a top-10 qualifying start or somewhere near the front, we would be good for the race. This place is going to be pretty aero-sensitive here on Sunday, so we have to keep it up front."
What did you think of the wreck involving Michael McDowell?
"It reminded me of a wreck I had at Atlanta once when I went out to qualifying without heat into the tires. I got into the corner and I was turned back sideways before I even got there. At least I backed it in and didn't have anything else besides that. His wreck was pretty horrific. I'm glad to see him walk away and be all right."
