HILLARY CONTINUES TO IMPOSE HER WILL ON THE COMPETITION
Fortuna, CA- Hillary Will of Girl Power Racing continues to impress the fans and her competition in her first full season of Top Alcohol Dragster. Coming of off two consecutive wins at the NHRA Nationals in Las Vegas and Bucky's Muffler, Radiator, and Brake Centers Fire, Smoke, & Thunder Nationals in Seattle, the Girl Power Racing team exceeded 270 MPH at the CARQUEST Autoparts NHRA Nationals in Seattle and the Fram Autolite Nationals in Sonoma.
"Throughout the year, our team has continued to improve," Will explains, "Our car, our crew and our racing is finally starting to hit on all cylinders. We are looking forward to finishing the season strongly and winning as many races as possible."
The next stop on the Girl Power Racing tour will be a make-up of the rain delayed Lordco B.C. Nationals on August 4th at the Mission Raceway Park in British Columbia. Will grabbed the top qualifying spot back on May 14th with a scorching run of 5.371 seconds and 267.37 mph. The team will then go on to compete in the Pacific Northwest NHRA Lucas Oil Series event at the same track August 5th through the7th.
There have only been six passes ever recorded in excess of 270 MPH by a blown alcohol dragster in the history of the NHRA, The Girl Power racing Team has recorded half of them.
