McClenathan's FRAM Team Qualifies 9th at Indy
4.544-second Time Best from Five Sessions

INDIANAPOLIS, Sept. 2, 2007 -- Cory McClenathan's new FRAM Top Fuel team rode his 4.544-second qualifying effort Saturday night into ninth place in the 16-car field for Monday's Mac Tools U.S. Nationals at O'Reilly Raceway Park.

"We had one very good run and a couple of others where we learned things we can use later," said McClenathan. "We also learned some things in the clutch area. We are looking forward to learning more and more about our new dragster."

He squares off against Morgan Lucas (No. 8, 4.537, 325.45) in the first round of eliminations.

"This race is one every team always wants to win, and that includes us."

"On a more serious note, we want to send condolences to Scott Woodruff of Jegs, his wife and family on the loss of her father, Jeff Cunningham.
