Snyder Looking for a Win

Mick Snyder and the Knoll Gas -- Torco Racing Fuels / Powersource Transportation Top Alcohol Funny Car Team are heading up to Brainerd, Minnesota this weekend to see if they can make their way through the tough field and into the winner's circle. They went to a final a couple of years ago and they are hoping to get that illusive victory at what has become their favorite race of the season.

"It has been a while since we were at a National event prepped track. Brainerd is usually one of the best we see all year. We have had some issues applying all our power to the track and we have really been looking forward to coming here because we think it will stick," said Snyder.

"The Minnesota fans are awesome. We love coming here and going out to the zoo at night, some crazy stuff goes on out there. It is unlike any other event on the NHRA circuit. I remember a couple of years ago when the chutes didn't come out I took the turn on the circle track and ended up out at the zoo. When I came out of the top of the car they were all cheering. Hopefully this year they will be cheering for us in the winner's circle instead."
