EXXON Superflo Series makes first trip to Wisconsin next weekend

Avon, Ind. (June 1, 2001)The CORR EXXON Superflo Series will venture to a familiar region for the next stop in the 2001 series. Langlade County Fairgrounds in Antigo, Wisconsin will host the Precision Gear Kiwanis Off-Road Championships

June 9-10.

A familiar stop in the CORR EXXON Superflo Series, the 1.185-mile track represents a mixture of natural terrain and portions of an oval stock car track. ESPN 2 will be on hand to cover the Pro and Sportsman Series.

In Tour 2000, five drivers swept each of the two rounds at Antigo. Rob MacCachren (Pro-4), Scott Taylor (Pro-2), Jeff Kincaid (Pro-Lite), and Steve Federico (Single Buggy) went on to capture the championship in each of their respective divisions. Keith Steele (Stock) swept the first two rounds, and ended up tied for second in the year-end points.

MacCachren (Pro-4), Taylor (Pro-2), Jason Crowder (Pro-Lite) head to Antigo with the early points lead following one round in the Pro divisions. Ben O'Connell (Light Buggy), Michael Seefeldt (Single Buggy), Todd Wallace (Super Buggy), Mark Kleiman (Stock), and Mike Oberg (Sportsman 2) were winners in the Sportsman Divisions.

A weekend pass (Friday through Sunday) for the event is $30.00; Saturday/Sunday $25.00; a one day pass for either Saturday or Sunday is $15.00; and $8.00 for a Friday pass. Call 715-623-4134 for tickets requests and more information.
