Monday 7th July 2003: Former Belgian motorcycle star Kamiel de Brue, who now races exciting single seaters, is ready for action. He will pilot a former F3000 car at Zolder circuit on Sunday 13th July in the 2003 EuroBOSS Championship and will try to take a class win in his first competitive outing of the season. De Brue will take to the wheel of his Ralt Judd V8 3.0 hoping to power his way past his rivals in the EuroBOSS 3000 class. He faces stiff competition from Roger Kilty driving a Reynard Cosworth V8 3.0 and Frank Lyons in a Lola Cosworth V8 3.0, but the local man is hoping that his superior knowledge of the circuit will give him the advantage and lead him to a class victory.

Belgium is also represented in the EuroBOSS Masters Class, for pre December 1989 Formula One cars. Formula Renault driver Patrick Dewandeleer will be making his EuroBOSS debut in a EuroBrun Judd V8 3.5 and will be testing his driving skills against the Footwork of Anthony Hansford and the Lola Beatrice of Bernie Harris.

In the main EuroBOSS class current Championship leader and former Spanish GT racer, Nick Dalli, will be looking for a strong performance to extend his lead over his nearest rivals; Dutchman Klaas Zwart piloting a V10 Ascari Judd and Englishman Max Wakefield in a Benetton Judd V10.

An impressive grid of 16 ex-F1 and F3000 cars, including Footworks, Arrows, Benettons, Reynards, Lolas, Minardi and Simtek will entertain the gathered crowds in Zolder, once again providing spectacular and noisy racing action. EuroBOSS holds the current outright lap record at Zolder, set in 2001 by Germany's Karl-Heinz Becker, who will be among the drivers assembled ready to challenge for the record which currently stands at 1:24.75. The three classes; EuroBOSS, EuroBOSS Masters (pre Dec '89) and EuroBOSS 3000 will compete together on the track in what promises to be another action packed weekend of racing.

The track action starts on Saturday 12th July at 11:00 with a practice session for all EuroBOSS competitors before the battle for grid positions commences at 14:55. The cars will line-up on Sunday 13th July for an impressive F1-style start and 17 laps of exhilarating race action at 14:05.
