Trident Racing completes aero testing at Lurcy-Levis
Trident Racing successfully completed a valuable testing session held on the French Lurcy-Levis track. The team conducted aerodynamic tests on the 2008 Formula Master package, under the technical supervision of engineers Riccardo Ficca and Stefano Versari.
On the track`s main straight, Kasper Andersen carried on a data acquisition session, and had the chance to have a first contact with the team and with the methods used by technical staff.
Next week Trident Racing will be back on-track with three Formula Master cars in the first collective testing session of the year, scheduled for March 20, 21 at Monza. The third driver of the 2008 lineup, finally completing the team`s ranks, will also be presented and lined-up there. Due to his commitments with Trident Racing in the GP2 Asia Series, Harald Schlegelmilch won`t be available on the Italian racetrack, as he`ll be entering the Malaysian round of the championship.
The Latvian driver will be temporarily replaced by Trident Racing GP2 racer and Honda F1 test-driver Mike Conway, stepping down for the day from the Main Series operation. The two technicians usually dedicated to him will be pairing the F. Master staff, composed by Ficca, Versari and by Technical Director Stefano Alessi.
