Mathias Lauda And Gelete Nieto Join The Epsilon By Graff Team To Race Formula Nissan 2000
Barcelona, 6 March 2002 - Michel Lecomte, team owner of the FIA Series Open Telefónica by Nissan 2001 wining team, Epsilon by Graff, has sign up an agreement with Mathias Lauda and Gelete Nieto, who will race the FIA Series FORMULA NISSAN 2000, a part of the ambitious program Telefónica World Series by Nissan.
Mathias Lauda (21), the son of the Formula One champion Niki Lauda, current team boss in Jaguar Racing, will make his debut in competition through this winning formula (Coloni/Nissan CN1/C).
Gelete Nieto (26), the son of the 12 +1 times World Champion Angel Nieto, and former competitor in the MotoGp (125 c,c,), will start competing in single-seater within the competitive French squad.
The FIA Series Formula Nissan 2000 cars will be the Coloni/Nissan, engined by the Nissan 2.0 liter, and they will have a maximum power of 230 HP. This competition will have 7 meetings (14 races).
